Once brunch has been cleared from the table, the menu changes. Out comes the smørrebrød, on rye and sourdough, with fish, meat or greens, alongside light dishes to share and larger dishes.
Two pieces per person is just right for lunch, and it costs DKK 185. Add a draught beer from To Øl or a glass of wine.
Lunch starts at 12.45 on weekdays. At weekends we start at 13.30, once brunch has had its time.
The menu follows the seasons, and alongside the smørrebrød you'll find the M&K burger and steak tartare.
Smørrebrød with a twist
Sønder Boulevard 68 is the address. The green strip down the middle divides the street, Kødbyen is a ten-minute walk away, and Folkehuset Absalon is our neighbour on the other side.
This is where we opened in 2015. There are around 70 seats, and room to linger after lunch.
When the weather's good, we set tables out on the pavement facing the boulevard, and you can have lunch in the sun.
We open at 8.30 with brunch. You tick off what goes on the table: three, five or seven items.
The coffee is our own, roasted by Copenhagen Coffee Lab, and brewed with a double shot.
At 17.00 we switch to the evening menu, with light dishes to share and larger dishes, a glass of wine and a draught beer from To Øl. The kitchen in Vesterbro closes at 19.00.
Tick your own boxes. Small dishes made from scratch, put together the way you like. At weekends until 13.00.
