Welcome to Mad & Kaffe in Aarhus
You'll find us at Vestergade 3, a few steps from Lille Torv. It's our fifth café and the first in Jutland, and there's room for you whether you're dropping in or you've booked a table.
We open at 8.30 every day of the week and take you from brunch right through to dinner.
The menu is the same as in Copenhagen, but the bread is from Berta Bageri and the ice cream from Nicolai Chokolade. The coffee is our own, roasted by Copenhagen Coffee Lab.
Vestergade 3 in Aarhus
Visit our café in Aarhus
You'll find us at Vestergade 3, a few steps from Lille Torv. It's our first café outside Copenhagen.
There are big windows, plenty of light and around 55 seats inside. Room for both the quick cup and the long lunch. The coffee is the same as in Copenhagen: our own, from Copenhagen Coffee Lab.
When the weather's right, we move out into the courtyard. There's outdoor seating between the buildings, away from the street and the traffic.
Food for big and small appetites
We're bringing the whole menu to Aarhus. Mornings are for brunch, where you tick off what you want on the table, with freshly brewed coffee and juice.
At midday it's smørrebrød, light dishes to share and larger dishes, with a cold beer or a glass of wine if you like. Berta Bageri bakes the bread here in Aarhus, and the chocolate for the ice cream comes from Nicolai Chokolade.
When evening comes, there are larger dishes for the hungry and light dishes for those who want to share.
The menu follows the season, in Aarhus as in Copenhagen.
